New Commenting Features And Statistics
For those users who love to track their postings and comments, we added a “statistics” area in the user profile section. We also added the ability for users to leave comments on the postings if they are registered users. This will allow people to log in and leave hopefully relevant comments to other users. To do this:
1) Create an account
2) Log in
3) Search illnesses in any area you choose
4) Click on the comment link and leave a comment for the user
5) The user will be notified of this comment via email but can deactivate this feature if desired.
There is also a new view where you can see the sickness in your area by listing out each individual’s symptoms and information aobut them. To take a look at this view:
1) Log on to www.whoissick.org
2) on the “view: map | postings” section, click on the “postings” link to see individual postings listed out. This will give you detailed information about the postings and those who posted it without forcing you to click on each sickness bubble individually.
We hope this will encourage people to register for accounts and begin communicating and connecting with the community.

Looking for help to make this site more exciting and useful
Looking for help to make this site more exciting and useful
Hey everybody, we’re currently looking for some assistance in idea generation, development, and possible partnerships for our site. Some of the opportunities we’re currently looking for:
1) Ideas - It’s been an exciting ride so far for the WhoIsSick team, but we’re looking for more ways make this site even more useful for everybody. We’re currently developing new ways to get people to come back to the site as well as ways to drive more new traffic to the site. More traffic means more data which means more value for the users.
2) Interns – We’re always looking for young entrepreneurial and motivated interns to work with. We’re open to setting up some type of stock options pool for interns who want to help in the development and marketing process of WhoIsSick.
3) Partnerships/Investors – Any medical and general health care companies who are interested in partnering up with us in any way, please shoot us an email and we’ll discuss any potential mutually beneficial ways of working together.
If you know of anybody who may be interested in helping, please shoot me an email.
